DESIGN CHALLENGE
Design an illustrated logo from randomized categories drawn out of a hat. The categories given were pet names, consumable products, and cities. Choose one from each category and create a product logo that combines them all cohesively. 

PROCESS
I was given a horse named Luca, the city of Wilmington, North Carolina, and wine. I created a logo that blends Wilmington’s coastal charm with the elegance of wine and the grace of the horse, capturing a relaxed yet refined feel. The color palette of sandy browns and sea blues was inspired by Wilmington’s coastal vibe, while the design embodies the sophistication of wine and the energy of the horse. I researched Wilmington and discovered its coastal charm, which guided my choice of colors. For the illustration, I used Procreate to create a loose, hand-drawn style, which helped convey an organic, free-flowing feel. I sketched a horse to reflect the relaxed energy of the town and designed custom typography that complemented the overall essence of the logo. The result is a cohesive design that captures the spirit of Wilmington, the elegance of wine, and the dynamic energy of Luca, the horse.
