DESIGN CHALLENGE
Choose a favorite quote and create a poster by illustrating the text using physical materials and objects in a way that adds deeper meaning to the quote. The type for the poster will be constructed by hand or machine, with physical materials, in three-dimensional space. Photoshop may be used for color correcting the images, etc, but this is not a Photoshop manipulation or collage assignment. The typography will be physically constructed and photographed. 

PROCESS
I decided to challenge myself by choosing the quote "Wrangler Butts Drive Me Nuts," something outside my usual style that would push me to try new approaches. To bring the quote to life, I laser-engraved it onto a belt and had a model wear it with Wrangler jeans. I laser cut the belt and photographed my friend wearing the jeans and the two other models playfully tugged on the jeans, emphasizing the "going nuts" aspect. Brought the photo into InDesign to add custom text to the photo and created an advertisement that Wrangler could feature in a magazine or on social media. This project allowed me to experiment with both physical and digital mediums while creating a fun and engaging ad.
