DESIGN CHALLENGE
These experimental posters will promote and motivate public interest in LatinX Type Designers and their contemporary typefaces. Explore experimental approaches to poster design and layout to create emotional resonance, a beautiful visual hierarchy, and a dynamic balanced layout.

PROCESS
For this project, I was paired with Luciano Vergara, a type designer from Chile, and tasked with creating a design inspired by his font, Schwager Sans. I began by mind mapping and exploring ideas that would connect the bold, tech-inspired type with bright colors to make it pop. Using my friend's photos as a base, I moved into InDesign, experimenting with alignments, effects, and filters while refining the visual hierarchy. The font, blending modernist principles with a contemporary, masculine, and sports-oriented style, was paired with non-traditional sports imagery to create tech-inspired visuals. By focusing on hierarchy and balance, I crafted a poster that reflects the energy of sport and the sleekness of technology, much like the type itself.
